Annotation & Markup
A tutorial screenshot needs an arrow, not a design suite
A tutorial screenshot wants an arrow and one line. Do that on one page, then stop. A design suite is a longer path than the mark.
A tutorial screenshot needs an arrow and one line of text. It does not need a design suite, a project file, or an account. ImageAwe keeps that job on one calm page: open the tool, place the mark, export, stop.
One page, then stop
The short path is the point. Text and annotations add a line, an arrow, a rectangle, or a circle. Drag to move, drag a corner to resize, drag the other handle to rotate. The words, the color, and the weight sit in the panel under the picture.
When the arrow points at the control you meant, download. Do not wander into filters “while you are here.” A second look is a second decision, not a bonus tab.
Rounded corners and a soft shadow are a different page, corners and shadow, and only if the screenshot is going into a deck. A phone number in the corner is not a caption. That is mosaic, before you publish.
What does not belong on the arrow
- A folder. This tool is one image, up to 20MB. Repeat it if you have three screens.
- A color grade. Brightness and presets are filters, one photo, after you know the arrow is right.
- A brand HEX you still have to guess. Sample it with the color picker, copy the value, then come back and type it. The picker is one image too.
If you do need a second tool without hunting the home list, the workspace is a rail: switch, stay on the device. It is not an invitation to build a poster.
Local, and then you are done
Reading and export stay in this browser. There is no ImageAwe server holding the screenshot, and no login between the arrow and the download. Close the tab when the file is on disk.
A listing photo with a kitchen behind it is a different page. A folder of forty SKUs is a different page. This one ends when the arrow is honest and the file is yours.
FAQ
FAQ
Do I upload the screenshot?
No. The annotation runs in the browser. ImageAwe does not keep the file.
Can I drop a folder of screens?
No. Text, arrows, corners, and mosaic are one image, up to 20MB. Repeat for the next screen.
When do I open the workspace?
When the next tool is a real second step and you do not want to hunt the home list. It is a rail, not a poster builder.
