Sample the button, copy the HEX, and stop
When the ticket wants a HEX, the color picker is the whole job. Copy the value and leave the page.
The ticket needs the HEX of a button. It does not need a design suite, a second export, or a poster. ImageAwe is one calm tool page. Sample the color, copy it, and stop.
One page, one pixel
Open color picker. Click the pixel. The page reads HEX, RGB, and HSL, with a magnifier so the click lands on the button and not on the shadow beside it. One image, at or under 20MB. The eyedropper runs in this browser. There is no ImageAwe server holding the screenshot.
An arrow and a line of text are a different page. That job is the annotation guide. Do not stay on the picker to draw the arrow, and do not open the text tool if the ticket only asked for a color.
Copy, then leave
Copy the HEX if the ticket said HEX. Copy RGB or HSL only if the ticket named those. A second sample is for a second pixel, not for “just in case.” Corners, a shadow, and a mosaic are other pages. The picker does not round the screenshot and does not hide a phone number.
The workspace rail is for a real second tool. If the next step is only “paste this HEX into the ticket,” there is no second tool. Close the page.
What this is not
It is not a brand system, a palette generator, or a place to recolor the whole screenshot. Filters live on their own page. A folder of screenshots is not a batch here: the picker is one image. If the file is still HEIC, convert it before you sample. A sideways capture can be rotated first, so you are clicking the button and not the bezel.
Download nothing unless you changed the image. A color sample does not need a new file. The screenshot stays on the device.
FAQ
FAQ
Is the screenshot uploaded?
No. The eyedropper runs in the browser. ImageAwe does not hold the file.
Should I also draw the arrow here?
No. An arrow and a line of text are another page. Stay on the picker only for the color.
Do I need to download a new file?
No, unless you changed the image. A color sample is a value, not a new picture.
